Despite the District of Lantzville councillors and the majority of citizens and business owners calling for an end to logging in the forest. Over 2000 signatures have been collected so far and yet the BC Liberals are unconvinced? Is democracy alive and well in BC?

Went for a run in the forest today. Sad to see the signs of active logging. One of my favorite trails has already disappeared. Wondered which ones are next. Ran slower in the rain and cherished the wet green beauty. Go see it before it’s gone.

The greater Nanaimo area will doubtless continue to grow and it makes obvious sense to preserve nearby areas for parks and recreation!
